Since 2007 it’s been our privilege and honor to spend time with and help share the stories of the people behind our local food scene. Relationships built along the way with you our readers, story subjects, loyal advertising partners, editors, writers, photographers and sales associates have enriched our lives and have made publishing edibleWOW a true joy.

With the above being said, we must to say a truly heartfelt Thank You to Chris Hardman. Chris, as many of you know has been the executive editor of edibleWOW since our first issue and it is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Chris who is leaving to pursue other interests. Thank you Chris!

Thank you for 12 amazing years! Thank you for your guidance, your absolute professionalism and your passion to make this publication the best it can be. Thank you for your dedication to “Celebrating the abundance of Southeastern Michigan, season by season” And most importantly and for always, thank you for your friendship. That we will treasure most. You will be dearly missed.

We are proud of what we have accomplished in publishing 45 issues of edibleWOW, providing a platform to connect consumers, restaurants and markets to food producers. Creating awareness of the importance of our foodshed and celebrating all things food and drink here in Southeastern Michigan.

Our mission has been to transform the way southeastern Michiganders eat, by connecting them to the local food growers, producers and makers, thereby strengthening the local food economy and creating a sustainable local food system.

As is our mission, we hope that this issue enlightens and encourages you to step out, meet and support the wonderful, hardworking folks whose stories we tell and those who support edibleWOW with advertising.
