edibleWOW Magazine is your guide to the local foodshed in Southeastern Michigan. We tell the story behind the food you want to eat.

We’ve been telling the stories of this area’s farmers, food and beverage artisans, bakers, brewers and chefs for nearly 10 years. Our coverage area started with Wayne, Oakland and Washtenaw counties—that’s where the WOW comes from—but we’ve expanded to include all of Southeast Michigan.

Unlike traditional food magazines, we skip the highly personal food reviews and instead focus on the food producers. We believe that the farmer is as important as the chef, the bartender is as interesting as the brewer and the local people who are changing the food system should be as famous as the Detroit Tigers.
