Cornman Farms' Fall Dinner
Cornman Farm is excited to announce its fall seasonal dinner on October 24, 2018 with author Lindsay-Jean Hard to celebrate the launch of her new cookbook, Cooking with Scraps. The evening’s menu, created in collaboration with Lindsay-Jean and Cornman Farms’ chef and owner Kieron Hales, features recipes from her cookbook and utilizes the produce grown in Cornman Farms’ chef’s garden. Tickets to the dinner are available for purchase online today and include a signed copy of Cooking with Scraps.
The cookbook, inspired by Lindsay-Jean’s Food52 column of the same name, shows home cooks just how delicious and surprising the all-too-often discarded scraps can be while transforming food waste into treasure. Lindsay-Jean will also be on hand that evening to answer questions and offer tips and tricks from her cookbook.
The sustainable-themed evening not only highlights creative, locally-sourced dishes but also showcases conscious décor designed by Detroit Cultivated, a company dedicated to implementing sustainable practices into events. The full menu can be found below.
